FSA & HSA Eligibility
Eligibility is determined solely by your FSA, HSA, or HRA plan administrator and by your tax circumstances. HumanFrame makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any specific plan will reimburse you, in whole or in part, for the purchase of any HumanFrame product. HumanFrame does not provide tax, legal, medical, or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for verifying eligibility before purchasing. Denial of reimbursement by your plan is not a basis for return, refund, or any other remedy outside our standard Refund & Returns Policy.
1. Background
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), and Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) are tax-advantaged accounts that may, depending on the specific plan and the circumstances, reimburse the cost of certain medical expenses. Eligibility of any specific expense is determined under the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury regulations, including IRS Publication 502, and under the rules of the specific plan administered for you. Eligibility varies by plan, by tax year, by your specific facts, and over time. Information provided by HumanFrame is general and is not specific to your plan or your tax situation.
2. No reliance; consult your administrator and tax advisor
Information on this page is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not, and is not intended to be, tax, legal, medical, or accounting advice. You may not rely on it. You are solely responsible for: (a) confirming with your plan administrator, in advance of any purchase, whether the specific HumanFrame product you intend to buy is eligible for reimbursement under your plan; (b) consulting a qualified tax professional regarding the tax treatment of any purchase or reimbursement; and (c) bearing the risk of any denial, rejection, or recoupment of reimbursement.
3. No guarantee of reimbursement
HumanFrame makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any specific plan will reimburse the purchase of any HumanFrame product, in whole or in part. Without limiting the foregoing, HumanFrame disclaims any claim, statement, or implication that any HumanFrame product is "FSA-eligible," "HSA-eligible," "FSA/HSA-approved," "covered," or similar, except as a general informational statement that, for some plans and some users, such reimbursement may be possible. Statements of this kind in advertising, on the Site, or by customer-service representatives are general and informational only and are not warranties.
4. Paying at checkout
If your FSA, HSA, or HRA card bears a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover logo, you may enter it as the payment method at checkout. HumanFrame's role is solely to accept the card as a method of payment; HumanFrame does not represent that the charge will or will not be approved by your plan and is not responsible for any decline, hold, or reversal by your plan or its administrator. If your plan declines or reverses a charge, you remain responsible for full payment by another method, and we may suspend or cancel the order in our sole discretion.
5. Receipts; no custom documentation
The order-confirmation email we send constitutes your itemized receipt. It includes your name; date of purchase; product name and SKU; quantity; unit price; tax (if any); total amount paid; and our merchant identification. We do not customize, re-format, re-issue, alter, or annotate receipts to satisfy any specific plan format, claim form, or administrator preference. You may forward, attach, or upload the receipt to your plan administrator as we provide it.
6. We do not file claims; we do not issue Letters of Medical Necessity
HumanFrame does not: (a) file FSA, HSA, HRA, or insurance claims on your behalf; (b) negotiate or appeal denied claims; (c) provide a Letter of Medical Necessity, certificate of medical necessity, prescription, recommendation, diagnosis, treatment plan, or any other medical or clinical documentation; (d) advise on the tax treatment of any purchase; or (e) communicate with your plan administrator or tax authority on your behalf. If your plan requires a Letter of Medical Necessity, you must obtain it from a licensed healthcare provider familiar with your medical history.
7. Denials of reimbursement
If your plan denies, reduces, or recoups reimbursement of any HumanFrame purchase, you remain solely responsible for the full purchase price. Denial of reimbursement is not a basis for return, refund, exchange, credit, or any other remedy outside our standard Refund & Returns Policy, including the 60-day satisfaction guarantee in that Policy (which applies on its own terms and is not contingent on reimbursement outcome). Disputes with your plan are between you and your plan; HumanFrame is not a party.
8. Tax consequences
Tax consequences of using FSA, HSA, or HRA funds — including but not limited to whether a distribution is qualified, whether penalties or income taxes apply, and how the transaction must be reported — are your responsibility. Consult a qualified tax professional. HumanFrame does not provide tax advice.
9. Promotional codes, sales, and bundles
If you used a promotional discount, sale price, or bundle discount, your receipt and any FSA/HSA reimbursement are calculated on the discounted amount you actually paid. Promotional reductions are not separately reimbursable.
10. Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL)
If you used Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, Shop Pay Installments, or another BNPL provider, you are responsible for any reimbursement timing or eligibility concerns those arrangements may create under your plan. The receipt amount reflects the total charge for the order. HumanFrame is not a party to your BNPL arrangement.
11. No part of this Policy waives the limitation of liability
Nothing in this page modifies, waives, or expands any provision of the Terms of Service, including without limitation the limitation of liability, disclaimer of warranties, indemnification, mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, jury-trial waiver, one-year limitation on claims, or choice of law. Reimbursement issues are not subject to any extended or special remedy.
12. Changes
We may modify this page at any time, in our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. The page in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
